Stage 00 — The Studio
Playout that knows your music
The Radeeo studio is a full playout system with a music library that does the homework itself. Upload your collection and every track is analysed: loudness for broadcast-level playback, BPM and musical key in Camelot notation, auto-segue points so the dead tail never airs — and an energy map of every playlist, so you can see how a show flows before it does.

Analysis on upload
Loudness, true peak, BPM, musical key, fingerprints and segue points — computed the moment a track lands, stored forever. Replace a poor file later and it all runs again, under the same media number, with nothing else touched.
Energy
See the show's shape
Every track gets an energy profile — bass, drums, melody, vocals — plus a measured GRIT score for how aggressive the low end really is. Playlists render as an energy map: the set's flow, at a glance.
Scheduling
Clocks, rotations, shows
Build the week from clocks and rotation rules; the studio fills the hours honestly and logs every decision. Scheduled shows record themselves.
Console
Browse in from anywhere
The studio console is a web page — secure remote access is built in, so producers manage the station from wherever they are. No VPN homework.
Stage 01 — The Library
Media, managed and polished
A radio library is never finished: rips without tags, three copies of the same song, an edit nobody checked for language. Radeeo gives the people who look after the music real tools — one search across the recognised sources, an AI that does the legwork and shows its working, and a review queue that never lets a problem hide.
ISRC & tunecode
One search, every source
Every track wants its ISRC and its tunecode, because the royalty reports depend on them. Radeeo searches the recognised databases from one box, fingerprints the audio to confirm the match, and reads the filename when the tags say nothing. Every verified code carries who set it and where it came from.
AI assistance
Suggestions, never silent rewrites
Radeeo's research service proposes the artist and title of an untagged file, a year, a description and a genre — each with a confidence, each waiting for a person to accept. It fills blanks; it never overwrites your edits. A forced re-run with a hint is one click away.
Duplicates
Three copies become one
Fingerprints find the same recording under different names and bitrates. The duplicates page puts them side by side with their history and play counts, so you keep the best copy and lose none of the reporting.
Safe for radio
Explicit content, decided once
Every track carries a radio-safe verdict: never reviewed, cleared for air, or explicit and kept out of rotations. Reviewers work a queue with the audio in front of them; presenters see the badge on every pick.
Stage 02 — The Station
Producers and managers, we do it all
Running a station is a hundred small decisions a week. Radeeo puts them in one console: the schedule as it is and the schedule as you plan it, the presenters' own shows, the messages listeners send, the room where presenters talk to each other, and the log where the station remembers.

Plan in draft, promote with an impact check
The Actual schedule is what airs. The Planner is where producers and station managers build the next season in drafts, then promote it — with every clash, every displaced hour and every affected presenter shown before anything changes.

A presenter opens the schedule and sees their shows, the shows either side, their ad breaks, and a reminder an hour before air. Their stream deck pads only fire during their own slot.

Nobody goes missing quietly
A presenter who does not turn up is on the console in red within two minutes and in the admins' inbox — while automation carries the hour and the silence guard keeps the air full.
SMS & WhatsApp
Listeners in the console
Texts to your short code or long number and WhatsApp messages land in console chat, masked, with the sender's history. Reply from the desk and the answer goes back out the same lane. Blocked numbers stay blocked everywhere.
Voice room
Presenters together, one clean feed
Co-hosts and guests join the voice room from a browser; the show hears them as one balanced feed, the recording keeps every voice clean, and the mic never sounds thin.
Station log
The station remembers
An admins' ledger for who asked what and what was decided — with pictures, tags, open and closed states and a history that cannot be rewritten. Backed up with everything else.
Stage 03 — Relay
Presenters in, safely
Relay is the door presenters come through. Each one streams from OBS or any similar free app with a key that is theirs alone — and Relay decides where that feed goes next.

Every presenter gets a private Relay key that works with OBS and other free apps. It is theirs alone, and revocable in one click.
Gating
Certified before broadcast
Presenter keys only work for certified presenters. No completed certificate, no key — enforced automatically, with a register your legally responsible people can show the regulator.

Relays that keep the adverts off
The studio relays the programme to your Mixcloud Live and Mixlr accounts so the show archives itself while it airs. The relays take the show tap — mic and jingles in, the advert calendar out — so the platforms' terms are kept by design. How the routing works.

A live presenter sits in the studio's schedule like any other source — automation hands over on the clock and takes back the moment the show ends. No desk babysitting.
Stage 04 — The Airlock
Meet the Airlock
The Airlock works on the combined programme — live shows, automation, everything your playout puts out. Between the studio and the listeners sits a broadcast delay, a panic button and automatic dropout protection. If something unairable happens, it never went out. If a connection dies, the station recovers by itself.

From the moment of pressing, the station's emergency playlist takes over. The last seconds of buffered audio are thrown away before any listener hears them, and cover holds until the post-timer runs out. Then live returns with a smooth fade.

Dropouts never reach air
The Airlock watches the programme feed. The moment it drops or falls silent, the takeover playlist is on air. No dead air, and nobody scrambling for the desk.
Stabilisation
Smart hand-back
When the feed returns it must stay healthy for a set time before it retakes air. A shaky connection has to wait longer each time it fails, so it can never flap on and off air.

The protected feed fans out to every destination at once — and every destination is a switch on one grid, not a cable in a rack. Add, drop or pause an output without touching the studio.

On digital radio
Radeeo produces exactly the feed a DAB+ multiplex operator needs. If your carriage is with an operator like Maxxwave, getting on air is a form to fill in, not an engineering project.

A rock-solid stream for the player on your website and for the radio directories (Icecast, MP3 and AAC).
HLS
HLS / m3u8 endpoints
Hand a partner an m3u8 URL and they carry your output. Revoke it and they don't. Ideal for relays, monitoring feeds and third-party players.
Stage 06 — Backups
Off-site, every hour
Recordings, logs and station settings ship to your own storage on the hour, every hour — so the station can be rebuilt from the bucket if the worst happens.
Hourly
Each completed hour of output and a snapshot of your settings leave the building automatically. Show recording for compliance is always included, never an extra. The station log and its pictures go with the nightly backup.
S3-compatible
Your bucket, your keys, your account: AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, DigitalOcean Spaces, Backblaze B2 or any storage with an S3-compatible API.
Verified
Every upload is checksum-verified end to end and logged, so what's in the bucket is provably what went to air — ready if the regulator ever asks.

How does it work?
A Saturday evening on a small-scale DAB station, start to finish.
20:00
The presenter goes live from home.
They press Start in OBS, a free streaming app, using their private Relay key. The certificate check happens before a single byte can reach air.
20:00–22:00
The show takes air.
The show rolls straight to the station's Mixcloud and Mixlr without a single advert, and the studio carries it in the schedule like any other source — automation waits its turn.
21:14
Their broadband hiccups.
The Airlock notices instantly and puts the takeover playlist on air. When the feed returns and stays steady, the show fades back in. Listeners hear music, not silence.
22:30
An output comes down, cleanly.
A partner's HLS relay isn't needed overnight, so it's switched off from the grid. DAB+ and the website player carry on untouched, and the change is logged.
On the hour
The paperwork has already left the building.
The hour's recording and a settings snapshot are in the station's own S3-compatible bucket, checksum-verified, before anyone thinks to ask.

One installation per station
Every station runs its own self-contained copy of Radeeo, on your hardware or ours. There is no shared platform holding your output, your logs or your listeners.
That design is deliberate. Private licences and full white-label deals are the same product, not a special build, so multiplex operators and networks can run Radeeo under their own brand.
